Julia began her career in the Gulf South gaming market but subsequently moved to Las Vegas to serve as Director of Brand Marketing for Caesars Entertainment, developing the brand architecture for the core Harrah’s brands and Total Rewards®.
Always up for a challenge, Julia answered a call from Steve Wynn to create the brands to launch his eponymous resort, a defining moment for the brand marketer and the one learning experience that has made Julia an invaluable asset to any organization – putting the guest at the center of the brand.
Following the successful launch of Wynn Las Vegas, Julia served as the Vice President of Brand Marketing for Isle of Capri Casinos. Julia was part of the team responsible for the development of a new brand portfolio for the company as well as reintroduction of the ubiquitous Lady Luck Casino brand.
Julia currently leads a team of marketers as the president of J Carcamo & Associates – developing new brands as well as refining existing ones. Recognizing a shift in demographics, she has formed espÑOLA, a joint venture matching mainstream marketers with the growing Hispanic market.
